CV Passport Update
Working towards a publication before the 16th Congress of EHA in June 2011, a dedicated working group revised and updated the European Hematology Curriculum Passport.
After careful revision and updating by a dedicated working group, the European Hematology Curriculum Passport, which enables trainees to identify gaps in their competence, is now in the hands of the National Societies for approval. The update groups involved members of the previous CV passport group, new linkers and EHA representatives. The process was both creative and constructive, and several of the weaknesses within the current passport were removed. It was also brought into line with the currently used WHO classification and other documents. The definitions of the competence levels were also clarified. The CV passport will now be discussed by each society and comments fed back to the working group, so that a final version can be launched on the EHA website by March 2011 and finally published before the 16th Congress of EHA in London in June 2011.
